Hatchit Farms began as a humble backyard project. We didn’t set out to build a farm, we set out to find meaning. Something wild, sacred, and stubborn.
Now located near Kaleden, BC, we are driven by a passion for real food and self-sufficiency. Over the years, our story has evolved into a dedicated breeding program that prioritizes hardy genetics and vibrant egg colors. Our mission is simple: to raise chickens that thrive in natural environments, offering both beauty and resilience. Every bird is evidence of our commitment to hand-raised, small-batch farming.

Heather was so amazing before my pick up of the chicks sending me photos when they first hatched. Since picking up the little ones she has been amazing with answering any questions or concerns I have had. She definitely has been the reason my first experience as a chick momma is a smooth one. I would recommend her to any newbies and also to any experienced owners as her PB chickens are beautiful.
